Furano Furano is located in the coldest part of Hokkaido, it is popular for its powder snow. There are 23 courses and 11 lifts including gondolas, the longest cruising run is 3400 metres. There is plenty of great skiing for beginners and intermediate skiers, with both clear courses and tree runs. More advanced skiers will enjoy the ungroomed steep slopes and mogul areas.
